Privacy policy (personal information)

By using the event mobile application, you will be required to provide certain personal information.  

The RONA Momentum 2026 application is published by Niché (9287-4221 Québec Inc.) through its Apple and Google developer accounts and is powered by Cvent platform technology. 

The application is accessible only to RONA Momentum 2026 participants, who may log in using their email address and a personal identification number. Accordingly, the data will not be shared with individuals outside the event. 

Information Collected and Shared 

In addition to the information you choose to share directly through the application, you may share information about yourself by providing links to certain social media platforms and other relevant third-party sources that you choose to share through the application. 

Please note that information obtained in this manner is used to personalize your user profile and facilitate interactions among event participants. 

The types of data that may be collected include: 

– Personal information (first name, last name, email address, professional title). 

– Technical information (device type, operating system, anonymized technical identifiers). 

– Application usage data (pages viewed, session preferences, interactions with other participants). 

– Geolocation data (only if you activate this functionality). 

Purpose of Data Use 

Information provided through the application will be used solely to enhance the participant experience and to:  

– Communicate targeted reminders and updates related to their stay. 

– Share essential RONA Momentum 2026 information, including the program, maps, activities, recommendations, and other relevant information to facilitate their stay. 

– Enable participants to identify other participants and facilitate interactions. 

– Enable communication with event organizers regarding any questions, comments, or suggestions. 

– Support improvements to future editions of the event application. 

Your personal information is never shared, sold, rented, or used for commercial purposes. It is not used for advertising profiling or for promotional campaigns unrelated to the event. 

Data Security and Retention 

Although we implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information (including encryption and restricted access to authorized administrators), no application can guarantee 100% security. 

Data will be retained only for the period necessary for the organization and follow-up of RONA Momentum 2026 events and will thereafter be deleted within a maximum period of two (2) months following the conclusion of the events. 

Your Rights 

In accordance with applicable laws (including, for example, the Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, as amended by Québec’s Law 25, or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe), you have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, request deletion, or withdraw your consent. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at info@agenceniche.com. 

Terms of use

The RONA Momentum 2026 mobile application was developed on the Cvent platform but is published and administered by Niché (9287-4221 Québec Inc.). 

Information shared through the application is stored securely and governed by this Privacy Policy as well as Cvent’s Global Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.cvent.com/en/cvent-global-privacy-policy  

Cvent – Technology Platform and Data Processing 

Cvent may collect, process, and store certain categories of data to ensure the operation, security, and compliance of the application. In accordance with its Global Privacy Policy, Cvent applies stringent data protection standards, including: 

– Encryption of data in transit and at rest. 

– Internationally recognized security and privacy certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 1/SOC 2, PCI DSS) and compliance with applicable laws, including the GDPR and the CCPA. 

– Data Processing Agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses designed to ensure the confidentiality of processed data. 

– Built-in compliance tools, including user consent management, the ability to access or delete personal information, and cookie and consent banner management. 

– Your data, while processed by Cvent to ensure the proper functioning and security of the application, remains subject to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Cvent does not use your information for its own independent commercial purposes. 

We ask that you comply with generally accepted Acceptable Use Standards. Violations include activities such as: 

– Sharing inappropriate content. 

– Engaging in abusive online conduct.

– Sending bulk spam emails, notifications, or messages. 

– Attempting to share hidden images or text, or attempting to obtain passwords or other confidential information through misrepresentation or similar activities. 

Any breach of these rules may result in the suspension of your user account within the application. 

The application is intended for users over the age of 13. 

All content included within the application shall remain the property of Niché (9287-4221 Québec Inc.) at all times. 

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for not sharing them with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, or for any request relating to access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, please contact support at info@agenceniche.com.
