We are very proud to be a Les Vivats 2020 finalist in the “Event Planner” category.
The Vivats are a Conseil québécois des événements écoresponsables (CQEER) initiative. Each year, the competition highlights event industry players that have adopted sustainable and responsible practices. The “Event Planner” prize is awarded for an event planner’s green practices for a specific event or year-round practices.
Our green-event promise
At Niché, our sustainable approach goes hand in hand with the creation of well-thought-out events. Our team is always committed to:
- Offering at least one local option.
- Making eco-responsible recommendations.
- Favouring suppliers that have a sustainable development policy.
Our service offer comes with an eco-responsible quote; clients who choose our agency are opting for a conscientious, environmentally aware company. We pride ourselves on offering our clients solutions that elevate their events to the highest possible level of eco-responsibility within the scope of their projects.
Collaboration is key!
The event industry still has a long way to go when it comes to eco-responsibility initiatives compared to other industries. We must work together to catch up on this lag. We create events that generate a lot of waste and CO2. Thanks to our suppliers’ collaboration and our clients’ open-mindedness, we are redefining our reflexes and rethinking our actions. The solution is for all event stakeholders to work together as allies in this essential transition.
In 2020, our industry was forced to take a step back and reinvent itself. This opportunity provided us with a greater perspective on our practices and an opportunity to move forward by gradually implementing more sustainable and greener practices. We value curiosity, which is why we strive to keep abreast of the latest sustainable development best practices in our field. To affect change, we must convince people to dare to go green and move forward. At Niché, eco-responsibility is everyone’s business. We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved so far.
